Indian Shores is from 183rd Avenue to 202nd Avenue along Gulf Blvd, only 19 city blocks long. It averages around a block in width between the Gulf of Mexico and the Narrows. The population of the city is just under 2000. Indian Shores has a gorgeous park, Town Square Nature Park. The park has long boardwalks through the mangroves.
The beachs at Indian Shores are generally quieter and less crowded then Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach. The restraurants at Indian Shores are also fantastic. A visit is not complete with out going to Salt Rock Grill. Indian Shores also is home to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary. It treats injured pelicans, herons, owls, hawks and other birds. Indian Shores also has other outdoor activities within an easy drive.
