Sun City in Hillsborough County just south of Tampa near the Bay and the Gulf of Mexico and is just 30 miles from the world-renowned beaches of Tampa Bay and Sarasota, Sun City is not to be confused with Sun City Center which is located close to Sun City.
Just miles south of Sun City is the Little Manatee State Recreation Area which has campsites, picnic areas, canoe launching areas, fishing, horseback riding and a hiking trail. Also nearby is Simmons County Park which has a lovely bayside beach, swimming, fishing piers, picnic areas and boat ramps. While the town enjoy the serenity of small-town living, it is close enough to St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Orlando to enjoy the advantages and excitement of larger metropolitan area.. Home prices for villas, single family homes and executive homes range from the mid $100,000’s to around $1,000,000.
