Odessa was originally settled due to a huge sawmill that brought employment into the area. It is a wonderful community which straddles both Hillsborough and Pasco Counties. It is now one of one of Florida’ fastest growing regions. The area has rapidly developed due to its location of straddling both counties and its proximity to Pinellas County. It is fifteen minutes to beaches and thirty minutes to down town Tampa. It has beautiful tranquil lakes, rolling hills and beautiful natural surroundings. It has seen the development of gated communities, equestrian communities and single family affordable homes.
