Primarily rural land Durant is an unincorporated, rural community in southeastern Hillsborough County. It is approximately 17 miles south east of Tampa. This small rural area is undergoing construction of modestly priced single family neighborhoods and master-planned communities with estate homes, town homes, equestrian homes and single family homes with manicured landscapes, parks and recreation facilities. Home prices for villas, single family homes and executive homes range from the mid $100,000’s to over $1,000,000. Durant has a county park, Medard Park which features camping and boating.
